GS12 Ignition Module

The GS12 is a feature-packed module that delivers up to 3,000 microseconds of continuous spark duration using inductive ignition technology. GS12 is a robust, solid state electronic module that provides highly accurate and extremely powerful inductive ignition, which when tailored with the gill range of ignition coils, produces well in excess of any CDI ignition system.

Description

The Gill GS12 is the flagship of ignition module. The module delivers up to 3,000 microseconds of continuous spark duration using inductive ignition technology. Along with all of the other features, the GS12 comes with real-time secondary diagnostics as standard. This allows for an overview of ignition performance and the ability to set alarms if the parameters are exceeded.

Use on almost any gas engine make and model from 1 to 12 cylinders – even engines with 2 coils per cylinder.  This includes both 2 and 4 stroke engines that are rich-burn, lean-burn, naturally aspirated, turbocharged, piston scavenged or blower models. Fuel types include natural gas, propane, LPG, landfill, digester and other biogas, synthetic and exotic fuels as well as dual fuel models. Engines operating with strict emission compliance requirements will benefit as well.

Timing can be adjusted globally, by individual cylinder or with a set of five load-input maps that are easy to set up and customize using the Windows®-based SparkZ software.The timing input signal can be from an existing OEM cam disc, the A3 or A5 conversion kit, or the standard Gill timing disc and pickup.

For engines with older 2 and 3 pickup systems an optional module can be used with the GS 12 to replace these older designs. The GS 12 is CSA approved when used with the EH-12 enclosure.

Gill Engine Controls combines the MaxiSpark Ignition System with the Zerodrift Air/Fuel Ratio Control System, designed to increase efficiency and reduce emissions of industrial gas engines. All components within Engine Controls have been designed to work in harmony, ensuring the complete engine control system is as efficient as possible.
