SM60-A Ignition Coil

  • Powerful and efficient spark ignition
  • For turbo charged, stoichiometric or lean burn engines
  • Available with an AMP sealed connector

The SM60 A Ignition Coil is designed to provide powerful and efficient spark ignition for normally aspirated, turbo charged, stoichiometric or lean burn gaseous fuelled engines up to approximately 2 litres (120 cubic inches) per cylinder.

Available with an AMP sealed connector, the SM60 A ignition coil is a single, high efficiency, compact, dry ignition coil designed to work with the Gill range of inductive igniters. SM60 A is fully encapsulated with no exposed core, providing robust spark ignition technology.

Description

The Gill SM60-A Ignition Coil is designed to provide powerful and efficient spark ignition for normally aspirated, turbo charged, stoichiometric or lean burn gaseous fuelled engines up to approximately 2 litres (120 cubic inches) per cylinder.

Available with an AMP sealed connector, the SM60-A ignition coil is a single, high efficiency, compact, dry ignition coil designed to work with the Gill range of inductive igniters. SM60 A is fully encapsulated with no exposed core, providing robust spark ignition technology.

Gill Ignition Coils are available in several electrical and mechanical configurations. The frame mount ignition coil (FM40), is designed for small gasoline and gas engine applications, surface mount ignition coils (SM60 and CY90) with a higher energy output designed for gas engines and integral coils (IC6 and IC12) designed for coil on plug applications.

With extended spark duration far in excess of any produced by CDI ignition systems, Gill ignition coils provide superior performance.

Gill Engine Controls combines the MaxiSpark Ignition System with the Zerodrift Air/Fuel Ratio Control System, designed to increase efficiency and reduce emissions of industrial gas engines. All components within Engine Controls have been designed to work in harmony, ensuring the complete engine control system is as efficient as possible.
